Photography in Conserving History
Everyone loves to take photos. When you take photos it defines something within you. It serves as a remembrance on your history in which you can laugh, cry, or simply makes you smile.
And within this history a photograph provides a glimpse of what has happened.
But can a photograph really show who you were before?
My answer is yes, although it does not show the full details of what you were before, but the glimpse of it preserves the memories of who you were.
Photography helps in writing and showing what was the history. Even before the ancient times ancient people used to draw on walls to show the history of their present. Photographs can show different facets or definitions depending on what you perceive about what it shows.
Emotions
Is it possible that you can see through the emotions of the picture if the person is happy or sad? Probably or probably not but it depends on how these people hide this emotions, but you just cannot hide being happy with a smile, probably you can hide sadness with a smile, that is how photographs sometimes can make different perception of these events.
Conserving history through photographs
Just a question in mind, why does history is always reminded of photographs, is it that photographs serves as a witness of these events? Or simply it is a reflection. Reflection on what did happened during these times, even showing different emotions.
Some will say that a photograph is a window though this events in your life. And I fully agree with them, without these photographs you have nothing to show but just stories which you can be doubted off, but with photographs you have precise stories which you can be clear and accurate.
A photograph is a window through your history, through everyone’s history, which reflects who you are today.

Does any one remember history's most famous salute?
What were your feelings when you saw 3 year old John F kennedy jr saluting his father's cofffin. (at least in photo)
He was just copying what he saw others doing with no clue as to what was going on. He never was very bright as a child or as a drug sodden adult.
I remember that whole sequence of events very vividly. I was in shock that the President of the United States had been murdered. Many people were shocked, driving home I turned my lights on and so did everybody else, like one gigantic funeral procession. I was not particularly fond of Kennedy, he was not a very good president, which would have become obvious in time. But the office of President had been violated.
What was really disturbing was when they arrested Lee Oswald I made the comment "He'll never live long enough to stand trial. then when Jack Ruby was convicted I said "He'll be dead in short order from heart failure, pneumonia or an STD. Those were the excuses given at that time for politically convenient deaths, I was surprised when it was announced that he had died of heart failure and pneumonia resulting from a serious case of syphilis.
